This training programme comprises of 3 x 2 hour sessions and is aimed at the non-HR person including team leads, supervisors, managers, finance team and those required to understand the practical application of employment law and HR practices. The workshop simplifies the key pieces of employment law and gives practical tips for handling employee relations issues in an informative and hands on manner through exercises and case studies. Topics include; Recruitment & Selection, the Employment Relationship, Working Time, Equality & Dignity at Work, Disciplinary & Grievances, Leave of Absence, Employee Relations Issues.

This webinar programme is delivered via 2 x 1.5 hour sessions and a 45 minute follow up. It aims to help non-HR personnel become great interviewers by understanding the legal guidelines, gives them advice and tips on how to plan and conduct interviews and ultimately choose the best fit candidate. It provides delegates with the skills and knowledge to manage the entire selection process, from identifying the requirements of the position to selecting the most appropriate candidate. We provide a 3 hour Webinar programme aimed at employees members of an organisation who are chosen in the voluntary role of Designated Contact Person as per the Dignity at Work Policy and who will have the responsibility for handling informal complaints in relation to bullying, harassment or sexual harassment. It is therefore necessary to train these persons on the following areas:

  • An overview of the legal implications of workplace bullying, harassment and sexual harassment
  • An understanding of the associated behaviours/definitions
  • Guide to Dignity at Work Policy
  • An outline of the role of the designated contact person  updated with new 2020 Bullying & 2022 Harassment Codes of Practice
  • A complete understanding of the complaints process including the investigation process and outcome
  • Knowledge and skills on handling this role

The workshop places a high deal of emphasis on skills building during the training, in order to provide participants with the opportunity to learn the skills that they will be required to use in the event of handling an informal colleague issue.

This webinar series comprises of 3 x 1.5 hour sessions and is aimed at upskilling the members of an organisation who are to form the team of investigators (in pairs), who will have the responsibility for conducting investigations in the event that a complaint is made in relation to bullying, harassment or sexual harassment. It is therefore necessary to train these persons on the following areas:

  • Equality legislation as it relates to discrimination, bullying, harassment and sexual harassment
  • Health and safety legislation as it relates to bullying
  • The company’s current policies in these areas
  • How to conduct a thorough investigation
  • How to conduct interviews during the investigation process
  • How to prepare a report of findings of the investigation

The webinar workshop will provide:

  • An overview of equality legislation in relation to bullying, sexual harassment and harassment
  • An outline of Code of Practice on Sexual Harassment and Harassment at Work
  • An overview of health and safety legislation in relation to bullying
  • An outline of two Codes of Practice on Bullying in the Workplace
